Local government
Chatbot for local government: resident enquiries on your website and by email, with one knowledge base
Residents ask their question the way they would at the front desk. Our agent answers from the pages and public documents you have chosen, cites its source and passes on to the right department what it cannot handle alone.
€43per month excl. VAT for chat on an annual plan, Mail agent optional
24/7Answers on your website around the clock, excluding maintenance
“People don't go to our website anymore: they ask an AI.” A paraphrased remark heard in meetings with local authorities.
What we hear in meetings with local authorities
Paraphrased and anonymised from our sales meetings. These are not customer testimonials, and no authority is named.
-
“Our search engine can't even find our own articles. It's maddening.”
The “What are you looking for?” box expects the right word. Residents arrive with a question.
-
“We spent time typing keywords by hand, with no visible result.”
Google states in its documentation that it does not use the meta keywords tag. That time is better spent elsewhere.
-
“The website is our business card. Keeping it up to date takes a discipline not everyone has.”
Our agent reads what is published and links to the page. An up-to-date page gives a correct answer.
-
“Before paying for an assistant, we want to understand how it finds its answers.”
It searches the sources you have chosen and cites the page or document it relies on.
-
“What we want to know is whether it answers from our own content.”
Yes. You set the scope: website pages, published PDFs, guides to procedures.
-
“If the assistant answers, we still need to keep publishing: it's its source.”
Yes. The website stays the source of truth, and the agent becomes its front door.
The website stays the source of truth. Our agent reads it, cites it and links to the right page.
What our agent does
-
It answers from your sources
You choose the website pages and public documents it can read. It is set up to answer from them and, when the information isn't there, to say so and hand over.
-
It cites the page or document
When an answer relies on a page or document, the agent cites it. Residents can check it, and so can your front-desk staff.
-
One knowledge base for the website and the mailbox
With the optional Mail agent, a question sent by email gets an answer drawn from the same content as the chat. Replies can stay as drafts until you approve them.
-
It hands over to the right department
When a request falls outside its scope or involves a personal situation, it qualifies the request and passes it to the department concerned, by email or as a ticket.
Sample conversation
A fictional exchange, to show how the agent answers, cites its source and hands over.
Good evening, I am the town's virtual assistant, an artificial intelligence. My answers cite the website pages, so please check them before any important step.
Hello, what do I need to sign my son up for the school canteen?
According to the “School canteen” page, you need the registration form, proof of address and the school insurance certificate. The form can be downloaded from that same page.
He'll be in shared custody, do I need to fill in two forms?
The page doesn't cover that case. I'll pass your question to the school services team with your contact details so someone from that team can answer you. Is that all right?
Yes, thank you.
You set the scope
For public use, the agent gets what is already published. Nothing else goes in.
-
You choose the sources
Website pages, published PDFs, guides to procedures: you decide what it reads, and you remove a source once it is out of date.
-
Non-public content stays out of scope
Resident files, staff data, working documents: the agent only has access to them if you give them to it.
-
Hosted in France
Conversations and your data stay on servers located in France. They are not used to train our models or those of our technology partners.
-
A human when needed
Personal situation, complaint, out-of-scope question: the agent passes an already qualified request to the department concerned.
-
Clear roles
The authority is the data controller for its residents' data. Natalia acts as a processor under a contract compliant with Article 28 GDPR.

What it can read
One line of code is enough to add the chat to most websites, as long as their tool lets you insert a script. Then you choose its sources.
What it handles day to day
Our agent takes the questions whose answer is already published. Your staff keep their time for the requests that need them.
-
Opening hours, addresses, contacts
Town hall, recycling centre, library, swimming pool: opening hours and contact details, taken from the website pages.
-
Procedures and documents to provide
Registrations, hall bookings, permits: the list of documents and the right form, with a link to the page.
-
Published documents
Finding a set of rules or minutes published as a PDF, without knowing the website structure, once you have checked it may be published in that form.
-
Events and news
What's on this weekend or the date of the next public meeting, based on the events and news pages.
Who is it for?
For local authorities whose residents look, on the website or by email, for answers that are already published.
-
Municipalities
A website run by a small team, and questions that come back every school year and every season.
-
Groups of municipalities
Several remits and several departments, with a single entry point for residents.
-
Joint authorities and local public bodies
Waste, water, transport, tourism: the recurring questions of a local public service.
