Back up the On-Premise appliance

Two complementary layers: a daily automatic dump inside the appliance, and a snapshot of the data disk on your hypervisor. The first is built in, the second is yours.

Hypervisor snapshot

The appliance has two disks: the system disk, replaced at each upgrade, and the data disk (label NATALIA_DATA), which holds everything that matters: CDR, configuration, audit log, dumps. Back up the data disk.

For a consistent snapshot, shut the VM down first, or use your hypervisor's application-consistent snapshot if available. Keep the snapshot outside the host.

Restore

Incident Restore from
Data disk, VM or host lostYour hypervisor snapshot: reattach the data disk to an appliance of the same version.
Logical corruptionOne of the 7 daily dumps, with your integrator partner or Natalia support.
Failed migration during an upgradeAutomatic: the appliance restores the pre-upgrade dump by itself.

Restoring a dump is not self-service: no restore button is exposed in the interface. Contact your integrator partner or [email protected].
