# Configure Alcatel OmniPCX Office (OXO)

The appliance reads [OXO](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/glossary#oxo) accounting tickets from the PBX [embedded FTP server](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/glossary#ftp-embarque), port 30021, with the `ftp_nmc` account. Read-only, nothing to install on the PBX.

Step 1/4

## Check access to the embedded FTP server

The OXO exposes its tickets on an embedded FTP server, port 30021. From a workstation on the appliance network, check that the port answers.

```bash
nc -v <OXO-IP> 30021
```

bash

The appliance uses passive FTP. Your firewall must allow port 30021 and the data ports the OXO opens in passive mode, from the appliance to the PBX.

The OXO HTTPS interface is not used

On the OXO, the HTTPS server (ports 443 and 30443) serves system configuration only, not accounting tickets. Do not enter these ports in the wizard.

Step 2/4

## Get the ftp\_nmc account

Collection uses the [`ftp_nmc`](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/glossary#ftp-nmc) account of the OXO, which can read the accounting files. Ask your Alcatel-Lucent integrator for its password if you do not have it.

| Folder | File | Use |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `/current/nmc` | `account.gz` | Accounting buffer, current traffic. Collected by default. |
| `/current/metering` | `tickets.gz` | Metering subset, can lag behind real time. Optional: every call is already in account.gz. |

Step 3/4

## Declare the PBX in the appliance wizard

On the PBX screen of the wizard (or later in the PBX configuration), fill in:

| Field | Value |
| --- | --- |
| PBX type | Office PBX (model O) = OXO |
| PBX IP address | IP of the OXO |
| Port | `30021` (filled in automatically) |
| Login | `ftp_nmc` |
| Password | Password of the ftp\_nmc account |
| CDR path (optional) | Empty = stock OXO folders. Several folders: comma-separated. |
| Filename pattern (optional) | Empty = account.gz. Set it to also collect tickets.gz. |
| Site time zone | Time zone of the PBX clock (Europe/Paris by default) |

Read-only by construction

The OXO collector only sends FTP read commands (listing, download). It sends no write, delete or rename command: the appliance cannot modify the PBX.

Step 4/4

## Test the connection

Click "Test the connection". The appliance logs in over FTP and lists the ticket folders. Result within 10 seconds:

| Result | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| OK | Save. Collection starts at the next cycle (30 min by default). |
| [AUTH\_FAILED](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/error-codes#auth) | ftp\_nmc login refused: check the password. |
| [HOST\_UNREACHABLE](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/error-codes#network) | Port 30021 or passive data ports filtered, wrong IP. |
| [CDR\_PATH\_NOT\_FOUND](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/error-codes#cdr-path) | Custom CDR path does not exist on the OXO: empty the field. |
| [TLS\_INVALID](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/error-codes#tls) | Certificate error. OXO collection does not use TLS: check that the port is 30021, not an HTTPS port. |
