# Export your CDR data

Your [CDR](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/glossary#cdr) stay in your datacenter. Exports in open formats, reserved for administrators, recorded in the audit log.

## Two ways to export

| Dashboard, "Export CSV" button | Calls, talk time and cost per extension, for the period displayed | CSV |
| Admin portal / local API | Call detail records, filtered by period and extension | CSV, JSONL, JSON Schema |

## Formats

| Format | Use |
| --- | --- |
| CSV (RFC 4180) | Excel, LibreOffice, any BI tool |
| JSONL | One record per line: scripts, data pipelines. DuckDB converts it to Parquet if needed. |
| JSON Schema | Description of the exported fields, to validate or map the data |

## Rules

A refused attempt is recorded too.</td></tr><tr class="border-line border-t"><th scope="row" class="font-semibold p-4 text-left text-police-titre">Traceability</th><td class="p-4">Each export is recorded in the immutable audit log, with format and row count.</td></tr><tr class="border-line border-t"><th scope="row" class="font-semibold p-4 text-left text-police-titre">Volume</th><td class="p-4">100,000 rows per export by default, 1 million maximum. Beyond that, split by period.</td></tr><tr class="border-line border-t"><th scope="row" class="font-semibold p-4 text-left text-police-titre">Phone numbers</th><td class="p-4">Pseudonymised: a non-reversible fingerprint plus the last 4 digits. The export never contains the full number.</td></tr></tbody></table>
