# Alcatel OXE and OXO prerequisites

What to check on your Alcatel PBX before opening the appliance wizard: collection account, network flows, [CDR](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/glossary#cdr) files.

## Pre-deployment checklist

Ten items to tick before booting the appliance. Print the page or tick the boxes locally.

1. [ ] **PBX model identified** — [OXE](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/glossary#oxe) (SSH/SCP collection) or [OXO](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/glossary#oxo) (embedded FTP collection)
2. [ ] **OXE: Taxation over IP license active** — `spadmin -l | grep -i account`
3. [ ] **OXE: SSH enabled, read access to `/usr4/account`** — account `mtcl` or a dedicated account
4. [ ] **OXO: embedded FTP server reachable on port 30021** — account `ftp_nmc`
5. [ ] **Flow opened from the appliance to the PBX** — TCP 22 (OXE) or TCP 30021 plus passive FTP data ports (OXO)
6. [ ] **PBX IP address known and fixed**
7. [ ] **Target hypervisor identified** — VMware vSphere / ESXi, Proxmox VE, Microsoft Hyper-V
8. [ ] **VM resources reserved** — 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 20 GB system disk + 100 GB data disk
9. [ ] **Signed license file received** — [license lifecycle](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/license-lifecycle)
10. [ ] **Contractual mode chosen** — [Strict, +Support 72h or Connected](https://getnatalia.com/en/documentation/natalia-analytics-on-premise/contractual-modes)

About the Taxation over IP license (OXE)

On OXE, this license enables external collection of accounting tickets over TCP/IP. Check it with `spadmin -l | grep -i account` or ask your usual Alcatel-Lucent integrator. Without it, the PBX writes no ticket file and the appliance has nothing to collect.
